The Winfield Foundation is a non-profit 501©(3) established in 2020 as an independent Winfield Community based organization to facilitate and provide support for events and other initiatives benefiting the residents of Winfield. This may include a variety of educational and/or entertainment causes as directed by the Board. The Board of the Foundation is comprised of a group of local community volunteers brought together by their community mindedness.

Through significant fund-raising events, The Winfield Foundation will be able to bring exciting events to Winfield, like the Winfield Criterium and Summerfest, featuring healthy and fun activities for the entire family.

The Winfield Foundation is sponsoring the 3rd annual Winfield Criterium and Summerfest and it will be bigger and better than ever. We are partnering again with the Intelligentsia Cup Chicago which hosts the largest USA Cycling event in the USA. The Winfield Criterium is part of a ten day series of races in 10 different communities including Chicago. Our race day (which is on Sunday, July23rd) will feature a total of 10 Mens and Women’s Pro and Amateur races with over 650 racers from around the globe and the USA. Last year we also had over 1,000 attendees.

But it’s not only a series of races, our event also includes a “Kidz” zone, with a 52’ inflatable obstacle course, a Blue Train Jump Playground, a face painter, and a balloon artist. There will also be a family ride on the racecourse at 5pm on race day. And we will have 9 food trucks and a beer trailer. We also hand out 250 cowbells for attendees to cheer on the racers. It truly is a fun family day of racing, kids activities, food and drink.

The Winfield Foundation Annual Golf Outing - September 22, 2023

Come join us for a great day of golf followed by dinner at Klein Creek Golf Club in Winfield on Friday, September 22nd. This event helps fund the Winfield Criterium and Summerfest, the Cider Run, and the Craft Brew Festival to be held at the Winfield Riverwalk.

This is a Four Person Best Ball with awards for several along with prizes and drawings.
